- Are You Lukewarm about the Resurrection? The Foundational Truth That Cannot Be Minimized.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. It’s something we can never be lukewarm about. It is the pivotal event that freed us from the wages of sin: death. It is the promise of eternal life. Yet, throughout the history of the Church, there has been a persistent effort from the enemy to minimize and downplay this essential truth. 64th Broadcast at EIC Despite the best efforts of influential figures like Martin Luther and Charles Spurgeon, in our times, the resurrection belief has faded to such a point that on an earth where two-billion people profess to be Christians, it’s hard to say if even 90-99% of them actually understand the resurrection and are born again. In our 64th Broadcast, “Get Ready for the Fake Rapture and the Fake Return,” we see a powerful testimonies of how the resurrection ignites a regenerative born-again experience. Evan recounts how, despite years of intense involvement in the Organized Church, he had never truly grasped the significance of the physical, bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was not until he encountered the teaching at Exodus Internet Church that the scales fell from his eyes, and he was able to fully embrace the truth of the resurrection. This experience is not unique. Throughout the centuries, the Church has grappled with the challenge of keeping the resurrection at the forefront of its message. As early as the 1850s, Charles Spurgeon lamented the "huge minimization, and even just outright denial, of the resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth" within the Church. He recognized the grave danger in allowing this foundational truth to be obscured or dismissed, even by those who professed to be believers. Martin Luther, the renowned Reformer, offered a profound perspective on the resurrection, emphasizing that it should be viewed as having already begun in Christ. In his words, "Paul wishes to signify that the resurrection is to be viewed and understood as having already begun in Christ, indeed as being more than half finished , and that this remnant of death is to be regarded as no more than a deep sleep ." This understanding of the resurrection as an ongoing, transformative reality, as well as a future event, is a crucial perspective that the Church has often struggled to maintain. The minimization of the resurrection belief has taken many forms throughout history. The rise of rapture doctrines and the sinner's prayer , which often fail to emphasize the centrality of the resurrection, have contributed to this gradual erosion of a core Christian doctrine. Even more troubling is the connection between the minimization of the resurrection and the deception prophesied in 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2, where a "powerful delusion" is sent to those who "refuse to love the truth and so be saved." The testimonies shared in the broadcast highlights the profound impact that a true understanding of the resurrection can have on a believer's life. Navigating Through Our Times As we navigate the challenges of the modern era, where the minimization of the resurrection continues unabated, it is crucial that the we never become lukewarm in our cherishing of the resurrection of Jesus. The resurrection is not merely a historical event to be commemorated; it is a living, life-changing reality that must be at the heart of our faith and the foundation of our lives. Only by embracing the power of the resurrection can we stand firm against the deceptions of the end times and fulfill our calling to be the light of the world. The testimonies shared in the broadcast serves as a powerful reminder that the resurrection is (again) not just a theological concept, but a life-changing truth that can ignite a born-again experience and empower believers to overcome the forces of darkness. We must heed the call to be passionate and proclaim the blessing of EIC and the resurrection with unwavering conviction. If we don’t repent of our lukewarm ways we will face the Lord, who will spit us out of His mouth, for we no longer taste like a fresh-hot meal, but like a room-temperature dish that’s been left out for too long. The Resurrection Requires More Than Mere Hearing - It Demands Faith The broadcast revealed a crucial distinction - simply hearing about the resurrection is not enough to experience its life-changing power. While faith comes by hearing, many within EIC have been exposed to the teachings on the resurrection, yet remain unchanged , lacking the born-again experience that should accompany a true understanding of the risen Christ. The testimonies shared in the broadcast highlights how it was only when they encountered a deeper, more profound faith on the physical, bodily resurrection of Jesus that they were able to truly grasp its significance. This led to an instant born-again experience, empowering them to overcome evil spirits and demonic forces. This underscores the vital need for everyone to move beyond a superficial imagination of the resurrection and instead foster within themselves a deeper reality of the risen Savior. Mere intellectual assent to the resurrection is insufficient; what is required is a faith that penetrates the spirit and leads to a profound, life-altering encounter with the living man and God—Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Only when the Holy Spirit moves on you to cultivate this faith and more personal understanding of the resurrection will His people be able to experience the full power and impact of this foundational truth.
- Mystery Babylon and the Purpose of EIC
For the past two years, Exodus Internet Church has been seriously praying, examining the times we live in, and trying to understand the book of Revelation. In the process of this, the enemy has been very angry and has been attacking members of EIC left and right. We now believe that we understand who Mystery Babylon is and that a huge purpose of our ministry has been revealed. The Start of 40 Years in Revelation History It all began with our Pastor, Pam Sheppard, on October 7th, 1983, attending a Kenneth Copland convention in Atlanta. She heard an audible voice in her hotel room as she was alone. A voice that sounded like rushing waters, thunder, and earthquakes, declaring, “Come out, separate!” Over and over again. Pastor Pam trembled at the sound of the voice. Those three words she would never forget for the rest of her life and would resonate with her in her journey to discovering who Mystery Babylon is and the purpose of the ministry. The investigation and quest to unlock the mystery of this Babylon would continue 17 years later, on September 11th, 2001. Ever since the day the World Trade Centers fell, Pastor Pam began closely watching world events and examining the scriptures, especially Revelation Chapters 17 & 18. After seeing the collapse of the World Trade Center and the words, “Come out, separate,” still echoing, NYC appeared to be Mystery Babylon. Pastor Pam sent flyers to warn God’s people to obey the call of Revelation 18:4, “Come out of Her, My people.” While time eventually passed and New York City built a new trade center, Pastor Pam reassessed her revelation but did not discard the idea that Mystery Babylon could be New York City or the United States. 2010 Pastor Pam published “Come out of Her, God’s People.” A book that explores the institutional church as the Mystery Babylon. A spiritual guide that discusses Mystery Babylon and the dangers of false religious systems and offers guidance on how to break free from them. The book emphasizes the importance of discerning the actual teachings of Christianity and warns against being deceived by counterfeit forms of spirituality. Through personal anecdotes and biblical teachings, Pastor Pam encourages readers to seek a closer relationship with God and to “Come out, separate,” or distance themselves from religious practices that do not align with true Christian beliefs. On October 10th, 2011, she then published a profound article that dives deeper into Revelation 18:4 and who Mystery Babylon is. The article further discusses how God’s people must “Come out of Church.” The Series of EIC Broadcasts Then, precisely ten years, five months, and ten days later, on March 20th, 2022, EIC broadcasted “A Bible Study of Prayer.” Pastor Pam said, “My faith has gotta be guarded, and also we gotta know the will of God. When we don’t know the will of God, what is our prayer? Father, what is your will in this situation? Which nation is Mystery Babylon? Let me know who that is. So, if I’m living in Her, I need to know what to pray for in the next steps. Because I don’t want to be jumping in my car driving to Canada, and everybody else is jumping in their car simultaneously, and we all be stuck out there on the highway—burning up gas…” Seven months went by, and then during several broadcasts in October of 2022, “The Roots of Christian Dominionism: The Violent Take It By Force,” “Scriptures Taken Out of Context,” and “What the Bible Speaks and What the Bible Does Not Speak.” Pastor Pam stated, “I have never participated in a message like this, ever. Or heard Christians even talk about this.” For the first time, we considered the United States as Mystery Babylon in detail. We talked about how there is no other nation like the United States that fits what the Bible says about Mystery Babylon. The United States is home to abominations such as pornography, accept Jesus gospel (Charles Finney “Sinner’s Prayer”), prosperity gospel, idolatry, racism, slavery, and many more abominable sins. We also go into the Masonic infrastructure built in Washington, D.C.. On June 13th, 2023, we conducted a revelatory broadcast and collaborated on the idea, “Who is Mystery Babylon?” Pastor Pam revisits the concept of Mystery Babylon as New York City and opens up with, “We don’t know how correct we are with anything we say about the end times, not yet. There will come a point where we will see what is what.” This broadcast further investigates who the Antichrist and Babylon are. Pastor Pam talks about how she no longer sees the church as Mystery Babylon but as the Harlot. We discuss the idea of Mystery Babylon being a city or a nation and present information about it. We bring up the Scriptures in Revelation about Mystery Babylon, “the great city,” and how Babylon is a place of “sorcery” or spiritual deception. We mention New York City is the heart of America and the headquarters of the United Nations, and the American military is the most powerful in the world. We also mention the signs that occurred, such as the wildfire smoke, bees taking over Times Square, and NYC being the birthplace of gay pride parades. Pastor Pam also brings up a dream she had of fallen angels diving down from New York City skyscrapers and entering into the masses of people on the streets. The End of 2023, The Season Of 40 Then, on November 5th, 2023, we conducted another broadcast about “Who Is Mystery Babylon, And Why You Need To Know.” The statement made throughout the broadcast was, “Pack light.” We go even further into comparing the United States to Mystery Babylon. We offer a historical analysis of ancient Babylon and the vision of Daniel. We rule out New York City as Mystery Babylon and that New York City serves as a part of the symbols. In this broadcast, for the first time do we boldly say that we must leave Mystery Babylon and come out of her. We mention the significance of all these revelations happening 40 years later, on October 7th, 2023, the day Hamas went to war with Israel. From this point on, about a month later, we left the United States for seven days to celebrate Pastor Pam’s 80th birthday in Antigua, West Indies. We received practice of what it would be like living together. We also received further confirmation from people that “Antigua is safe.” After we returned from Antigua, everyone became more serious about the decision to leave. It then became a matter of finding a place to live, finding remote work, packing, and preparing for the transition, which eventually would have been in May 2024. The Last Month In Babylon The last month of living in the US would confirm the need for our departure. In April 2024, Pastor Pam shared in the broadcast, “The 7 Heads and the Harlot of Babylon: Can A Black Man Be The Antichrist?” It was a significant revelation about the Antichrist and the Harlot. We understood that the Beast depicted in Revelation is a collection of US presidents, each representing “a head,” starting from Ronald Reagan to number seven, Joe Biden. All of them are part of the Antichrist beast, and the Harlot rides on top. We are waiting for this “eighth” beast to emerge or “the Antichrist figure” being ushered in by the Harlot. Around this time major ice storm hit and caused a massive electrical outage, affecting over 100,000 people in the Capitol District region of New York. Pastor Pam, Evan, and Christina all had to congregate at Abby’s for warmth, food, and electricity. Then, we experienced an almost 5-point magnitude earthquake that was felt for hundreds of miles across the Northeast. The total solar eclipse also took place that month, defying science. Two total solar eclipses occurring in the US within a relatively short period are rare and have generated significant interest among astronomers, scientists, and the general public. Both eclipses made an “X” across America, similar to the “cancel” symbol. Around the same time, the Statue of Liberty was also struck by lightning. EIC: Our Purpose Further Revealed What should be taken from this article is that Jesus Christ of Nazareth knew the formation of our online church would happen before any of us knew and, inspired by the Holy Spirit, we would be given the name “Exodus” Internet Church. At the time, we knew there was a departure for God’s people to come out of the toxic spiritual madness of the physical church. We knew there was a spiritual exodus for God’s people to let go of worldly attachments. But, we had no idea then if there would be a physical, a literal exodus out of the United States. Yes, we see through a glass darkly, the end times are uncertain times. But, we have over years of revelation, signs, evidence, collaboration, and investigation into “Mystery Babylon” and we believe it to be the United States, and we believe we must obey Revelation 18:4, “Come out of her My People, so you don’t partake in her sins and receive her plagues.” This is the calling of Exodus Internet Church. We offer an exodus, spirit, soul, and body. To spiritually leave behind the ways of the world, to detox your soul from religion, and to find physical refuge and safety during the tribulation. If you are of similar conviction about Mystery Babylon, we would love to help you with your personal exodus. We can help you transition out of the US and to a new location as you work out your tribulation plan. Feel free to contact us at 888-818-1117 or email spiritdetectives@yahoo.com At a certain point, the Lord can only give you so many signs, and it’s up to you and the strength of your faith— or you will eventually rationalize and doubt them away. May the Holy Spirit guide you and all of us into all truth in these perilous times.
- History of the Baphomet: Mystery of Spiritual Harlotry
In the supercut footage , Kamala Harris repeats the expression, " What can be, unburdened by what has been ," while motioning a peculiar repetitive body language with her arms that makes any watcher wonder, "What does this mean?" The motion and placement of her arms mimics one of the most secretive, mysterious, yet dark symbols of the past 150 years, the Baphomet. The Origins of the Baphomet In researching the name "Baphomet," we will never understand what the word itself means. There are many unclear sources about its emergence. Still, the first historical evidence is in a letter written in 1098 during the siege of Antioch between Catholic Crusaders and Muslim militia. The inhabitants began worshiping what sounded to the French Crusaders as "Baphomet." Historians believe that they misheard "Mahometh" or "Mohammed" (being that Arabs settled in Antioch). Scholars then point out that the Baphomet came from French religious history in the 12th-14th century. During this time, the Knights of Templar were both monks and warriors, a devout but highly wealthy Christian sect. They defeated the Muslim-occupied Israel and the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in 1099. They were personally approved by the Pope of the Catholic Church to protect Christians traveling to the Holy Land and guarded the pilgrims and their found relics. Their military power and the people's trust enabled them to store treasures and relics found by pilgrims. Because of their safe, secretive, and secluded ways, their financial influence became more prominent with European rulers who would also have the Templars store their treasures. They became some of the most influential people in the world. It is also believed that the Knights Templar searched for Biblical treasures and artifacts, such as the Holy Grail - the cup Jesus drank from at the Last Supper. There is a belief that the Knights Templar has hidden the Holy Grail in a European church and may also have hidden the Ark of the Covenant. The Trial of the Knights Templar Still, mystery surrounds the Knights Templar because of their secretive profile, which would cause allegations and accusations about their rituals and practices. Their downfall was caused by French King Phillip IV, who was theorized to be in substantial financial debt to the Knights Templar but also possibly interested in their potential treasures. Historians believe the King accused the Knights Templar of secretly worshiping the "Baphomet" to escape debt, seize their properties, and diminish their influential power. Subsequently, with the support of the Pope, 70 direct members of the order were imprisoned, as well as over 500 associated members for devil worship and other charges on October Friday the13th in 1307–or Black Friday, a day forever remembered for bad luck. Under duress, some members falsely confessed to worshiping "Baphomet" to escape torture by the French monarchy. After being sentenced to be burned at the stake, the Grandmaster Jacque De Molay of the Knights Templar reportedly issued curses against the Pope and the King while facing execution and prophesied their deaths within a year. Surprisingly, the Pope and the King passed away within the predicted timeframe. Also, King Phillip's entire lineage of processors of sons would die of mysterious causes by 1328. Some scholars theorize that a remnant of French Templars escaped to Scotland with the treasures King Phillip was after. It is believed from that point, the Templars remained underground for the next 400 years. The mystery worship of "Baphomet" and the Templars would circulate throughout Europe since the public trials of the Knights Templar. It would then be in the 1700s that the Knights Templar would reappear and become part of the Freemasons. The Templars Become Freemasons Without going into another historical discourse on the Freemasons, the Knights Templar would ultimately become a unique sect of the Mason Lodge. Freemasonry initiated a breakthrough by opening the Grand Lodge in London in 1717. The Masons grew popular because of their geometric and architectural intelligence, secretive esoteric rituals, and occultic philosophies. Chevilar Ramsey of Scotland was attracted to mysticism and sworn into the non-Masonic order of the Ordre du Temple Knights Templar in 1710. At the death of Grandmaster Duke of Orleans in 1730, Ramsey would be initiated into Freemasonry; at this juncture, historians believe the Knights Templar became a part of the Masons. But, unlike Freemasonry, which accepts all religions, the condition that anyone seeking to be a Knight Templar must profess Christianity and claim Christ as their Supreme Being. Yet, despite their Christian claims, the Knights Templar would still be associated with idolatry and the Baphomet by European society, as stated in an essay by Joseph von Hammer-Purgstall in 1818. Joseph had associated a stone artifact of the Knights Templar from the 14th century representing Gnostic, Occultic philosophies. He claimed this stone artifact was "the very Baphomet" they were accused of worshipping by King Phillip in 1307. Éliphas Lévi the Artist of the Baphomet Fast forward to almost 40 years later, in 1858, the image of the Baphomet would be finalized and used among Satanists and Occultists today. Éliphas Lévi was a French Catholic priest at the beginning of the 19th century who abandoned the priesthood and became an occultist ceremonial magician. A ceremonial magician draws supernatural powers from schools of "occult thought" or "Hermetics." Interestingly enough, Hermetics was something I was studying when I was in the occult. And in a nutshell, Hermeticism incorporates mystical "laws" and natural principles that derive from Ancient Egypt and Greece, like gender, opposites, etc., for enlightenment and "spiritual balance." In my research on ceremonial magic, I found that it was also used in rituals to conduct magic. Eliphas used this knowledge to achieve supernatural powers or "magic." He wrote over twenty books on occultic philosophy and was part of a French Masonic organization. Still, he left Freemasonry, quoting, "I ceased being a freemason, at once, because the Freemasons, excommunicated by the Pope, did not believe in tolerating Catholicism ... [and] the essence of Freemasonry is the tolerance of all beliefs." Eliphas designed the "Sabbatic Goat." In Eliphas's book, "Ritual Doctrine of Ceremonial Magic," Levi describes the Baphomet representing the union of opposites and reconciliation of spiritual and material realms. Or, one could say, "Balance." This idolatrous symbol mirrors the ancient Buddhist "Yin Yang" symbol of dualism, balance, and harmony. The Connection: Baphomet and Masonry in American Politics Political and prominent figures from every aspect of Europe would assemble in secret and share various beliefs, ideas, and conversations at Freemason lodges. Based on the beliefs and practices of Freemasons, their agenda appears to be rooted in social order, universal tolerance, advanced "wisdom," and acceptance. Interestingly, the American Constitution's final draft in 1787 echoes similar ideas, such as the First Amendment right of "Freedom of religion." We also see comparable Freemason concepts in the US Dollar Bill, such as ancient Egyptian Occultic Symbols, "A New Order," and "In God We Trust." The foundation of American politics and government is built upon the ideological influence of Freemasons, which makes you wonder how deep and how far these ideas permeate in our times. Freemasons were highly skilled archaeologists specializing in geometry and archaeology and designed several grand cathedrals in Europe. Freemasons constructed the Statue of Liberty in Europe, and almost the entire blueprint of Capitol Hill was designed with Masonic geometry and symbols. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, and John Hancock (the man who signed the Declaration of Independence), James Monore (Fifth President), John Paul Jones (War Hero), Ethan Allen, John Marshall, Joseph Warren, and John Jay were all a Freemason in the Colonial Era and vital in establishing what we know today as the United States of America. Every President up to George Bush Senior was sworn in, hand on the Freemason Bible that George Washington used. Satanism Makes The Baphomet Famous The Baphomet work of Eliphas would be fully materialized in the life of Anton LeVay in the 1960s. Anton LeVay would be the "father and founder" of the "Church of Satan," author of the Satanic Bible and the new religion "LeVay Satanism." The image of the Baphomet would become even more popular as the Satanist religion gained popularity. LeVay's writings even include situations sourced from the Knights Templar and claim that Satanism passed down from them into the 20th century. I looked at the website of the current Knights Templar Masonry. Despite their website claiming no evidence connecting the present order and the ancient order, there is a prominent link to the beliefs and practices of these mysterious groups. Their open denial of any link of the ancient Templars could be for their protection since the Nazis persecuted and targeted Freemasons, as one of Hitler’s members was looking for the Holy Grail and believed the Templars in the Freemasons had it. Hitler himself was an esoteric occultist and regularly had diviners and German historians who researched occult themes. Kamala Harris Esoteric Body Language The fact that Kamala Harris continues to express body language that mimics an object that has been associated with secret societies, occultism, and Satanic worship is alarming. Based on my research, I suspect and theorize that since the Baphomet is rooted in occultic mysticism and witchcraft powers, it can be used or "channeled" to empower and enlighten those with supernatural powers and knowledge from the Devil. Kamala Harris commonly expresses the gestures of the Baphomet while reciting this phrase, "The point about progress is to have the ability to have a vision, and a belief and some faith in what can be, unburdened by what has been ." Could this phrase be about the traumatic American past of racism and hatred and that we must have hope for a new progressive future? Maybe. But it also echoes transcending occultic esoteric expressions of balance, harmony, and universal transformation. James Lindsay, an author of right-wing conspiracy books, made similar observations to Kamala Harris's speech, describing it as, in his words, "Cultural Marxism." While we are not promoting conspiracy theories, we can't deny the obvious. Regardless of interpretation, the highest levels of Satanism, Freemasons, Knights Templar, witchcraft, and occult forces are factually associated with the Baphomet. Of all the body language expressions Kamala could choose, it is the body language the Baphomet expresses. It is the Baphomet that represents the Babylon Antichrist Idolatry controlled by Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet, creating a universal religion of love, balance, and acceptance, all while denying and mocking Jesus Christ of Nazareth. This further evidence provides valuable insight into Kamala Harris's possible role as the spiritual harlot in Revelation. We must ask ourselves: Is the spirit of harlotry present in her future administration of joy and freedom? We will have to continue trying the spirits and watching.
- Deliverance Is Not Just An American Thriller. It's Spiritual Freedom.
When we think of demons, spirits, and ghosts, the first thing that comes to mind is movies. Hollywood has a way of giving life to imaginations; most of the time, these imaginations are false or only shed partial truths. One example is Deliverance , a 1972 American thriller film produced and directed by John Boorman and starring Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, and others. Deliverance: What Does It Mean? Lewis Medlock wants to see the Cahulawassee River before it's dammed and turned into a lake. He is an outdoor fanatic and takes his friends on a canoeing trip they'll never forget into the dangerous American backcountry. The movie's theme revolves around being "delivered" from the pending danger that looms on the river. This is one aspect of deliverance akin to the Israelites' deliverance out of Egypt. Deliverance can be synonymous with escape, protection, and freedom. According to the definition of deliverance, it is "the action of being rescued or set free." The deliverance we ultimately should seek first is spiritual freedom. Deliverance Ministry Everyone should get a copy of Pam Sheppard's Be Delivered From Deliverance Ministry . The book will help you better understand the myths and history of the deliverance ministry. But, in a nutshell, deliverance ministry did not exist until Charismatic and Pentecostal denominations formed their framework in the 20th century around the Azuza Street revival. Some Christians debate whether a born-again believer can have a demon while the Holy Spirit is indwelling. While a born-again Christian cannot be possessed by a demon, they can still be attacked, as we see in Ephesians 6, the Scripture of spiritual warfare. But we also we spiritual warfare in the book of Revelation. Religious Healing Practices The problem with deliverance ministry is there are religious healing practices and exorcism rituals that actually hinder spiritual freedom and casting out demons. In fact, these practices and rituals make things worse. We don't need special soaps, oils, and scents to be healed from demonic oppression. We don't need "inner faith healings" and to know everything about demonology from expert liberation ministries to be set free. To understand deliverance, spiritual freedom, and spiritual warfare, we need to return to the simple examples of the Bible. Exorcism Rituals Vs. Truth Jesus and His apostles never used exorcism rituals to set people free. Jesus taught His disciples, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." The words "set you" can also mean "make you" in that a work of creation is done on you; something is formed in you that sets you spiritually free from the lie you were believing. We don't need to receive empty healing prayers from a deliverance ministry's self-deliverance program. We need truth—the truth that reaches our spirits, truth anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit. This is what sets us free. Faith Healing and Casting Out of Demons Having demons cast out of you is a miracle and a healing. When Jesus commissioned His disciples to preach the Gospel, they, along with every born-again Christian, were also to cast out demons and heal the sick. The goal is that when these are used on sinners, accompanied by preaching, the Holy Spirit will fall on the hearer, and they, too, will become born again, the ultimate spiritual freedom. Demonology Is Not Enough A demonology book cannot possibly tell us everything. This is why deliverance counseling is needed. We need Pastoral guidance and experts in salvation to help us identify our spiritual freedom. Learn more about our deliverance counseling opportunities . - Practices of Apostasy
What exactly does the term "apostasy" mean? The Greek word "apostasia" describes something that was once standing, established, fixed,, and gradually moving away. You can think of a giant skyscraper or even a tree—with all its roots—slowly moving from its original location on the ground until it ends up in a completely different place. With this idea in mind, we know that practices are the very actions of what we believe, and in this article, you will see the Christian practices of apostasy. First Mention of Apostasy The Apostle Paul first mentioned apostasy as a prophecy. It was not an ordinary prophecy but intended for a generation of Christians close to the day Jesus would return to earth. He explained that there would come a time, in the last days, when Christians would follow doctrines of demons and seducing spirits and be so deceived by deception that God would send a strong delusion as a consequence of their disobedience to the truth. And because of their disobedience, we would see the practices of apostasy. Tongues To start with, tongues are nothing new under the sun. Even with the dispensation of the Holy Spirit at the Lord's ascension, there is much historical evidence that many non-Christian religions expressed themselves in ecstatic, unidentified tongues. The essential difference between the tongues we see in the Scriptures and those of the pagans is that the disciples spoke intelligible human languages. Essentially, the "oppo... But today, we see a completely different approach. Christians are taught by various denominations and non-denominations to "speak in tongues." Like in the case of Oprah Winfrey's car giveaway, preachers say to everyone: "You speak in tongues! You speak in tongues! Everyone speaks in tongues!" It's a doctrine of demons that the unsuspecting Christian swallows. I know because I ate it, too, despite my suspicions. At a "Power and Love" convention organized by a notorious evangelical pastor, another person spoke to me in tongues. While he was speaking, I heard in my mind: "God loves you." Then he told me that he had said, "God loves you." Does that seem like validation for speaking in tongues? It's false. The Setting of Tongues The religious demon assigned to me made him believe that what he said (even though he had no idea what he was saying) was, "God loves you." This demon also transmitted this thought into my mind to create a cause-and-effect situation to make me believe in tongues, which it ultimately did, and I went crazy! But when I was singing and speaking in tongues, I remember the thought: "Worship Satan!" I felt like I was praising the devil. When you share your concerns with the prominent tongue speakers, they tell you: "Oh, iDevilust the Devil who wants you to stop speaking in tongues." Ironically, it's the Devil who wants you to keep speaking in tongues... Note that during this entire periodDevilasn't even born again. So how can a carnal man speak in tongues when he doesn't even have the Holy Spirit? It's because the Devil and his demons can also speak in tongues, and that's precisely why they want us to be in tongues because we are uttering demonic, sinful, and cursed things in the spirit realm when we do so. Other Practices of Apostasy Tongues are not the only practices of apostasy. Satan has also counterfeited many other gifts of the Spirit. We see that prophecy and the word of knowledge have become demonic practices. Not that all prophecy is from the devil, but it's the way Christians are instructed by false teachers that's the problem. Devil are taught that "everything that comes to mind" must be accepted as prophecy. Or that "any word that comes to mind" must be accepted as a word of knowledge. This "anything goes" attitude without testing the spirits is entirely contrary to the Scriptures, which say we cannot believe all spirits since not all spirits come from God. This brings us back to the point I raised earlier: preachers and teachers emphasize more what Christians do and practice than their experience of salvation—the decisive moment for every Christian. So, although I had "all these gifts," I was deceived into thinking I was saved because I could heal people, speak in tongues, prophesy, and speak words of knowledge. And I was just one; imagine how many other Christians think the same. That's why we are in a period of significant apostasy. Save Them! To Continue To continue with the practices of apostasy, we see a complete work with all the counterfeit gifts of the Spirit used toward the Christian and unsaved world. The main reason? Christians believe and are deeply taught that they are responsible for bringing people to Christ. That's why they must use the gifts to prove to the unsaved that God is accurate and that Christ is the way, and all you have to do is "accept Him." So we see Christians going around with an evangelical frenzy rooted in the guilt that if they don't intervene with sinners in their lives, they will be held responsible for their descent into hell. But, unknowingly, these Christians are under a curse because they preach a false gospel and practice the counterfeit arts of Satan. No wonder demonic torment has reached an all-time high in our time... I was one of them, praying in tongues for people, laying hands on people to try to heal them, trying to prophesy to demonstrate the power of God, trying to win any soul to Christ so I could feel good about "saving" someone from hell... Once, I even tried to cast out a demon from someone by saying, "Jesus loves you." But I ended up in a situation similar to that of the seven sons of Sceva: the demon attacked me head-on, cursed me, threw objects at me, and tried to chase me... Christianity is not a game! Jesus KNEW The entire pastoral system has strayed from the simple foundation in Christ: being born again by the choice and grace of God. They have made it a matter of work and practice. Jesus KNEW this would happen, so He said: "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day, MANY will say to me, 'Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'" The "workers of lawlessness" are those who practice false practices. In other words, Jesus is not looking for those who do "mighty works." He is looking for those He knows. And this is the point we must all agree on: do we care more about works or being known by the King of kings? So, let's put aside the act of the foolish virgin and become wise. Let's detox and deprogram ourselves from the religious conditioning of the world because Jesus is coming very soon... Because we are living in the age of apostasy.

- The Holy Spirit and Grief: Collectively and Individually
"Grief" or "sorrow, misery, sadness, anguish, pain, distress" His fruit is immediate and lifelong. His fruit does not stop when you get born again, but His fruit also has to start there. One thing that is interesting, while the Holy Spirit works on the individual level, He also works with the collective believers. I believe that this is because we are all connected, if one member is strong in their walk in the Spirit, it will help others not grieve the Spirit; while at the same time, if a member is grieving the Spirit, it can cause other members to stumble. That's why we, as individuals, cannot grieve Him, because your individual grieving could cause the rest of the Body to grieve Him, too. The Book of Hebrews reveals this in chapter 3, verse 7: "Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: 'Today if you will hear His voice, do not harden your heart as in the rebellion. On the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works for forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, 'They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.' So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest...''" verse 16, "...For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief." What this tells us is that the Israelites collectively grieved the Holy Spirit by their rebellion and unbelief. We see this constant theme of the Israelites following after the ways of idolatrous nations, mimicking their sins, going up all the way to when their Messiah Jesus Christ of Nazareth came to them, they rejected Him, and ordered Him to death, the ultimate form of rebellion and grieving the Spirit. Because of their collective grieving, the Israelites lost their place as God's people except for a remnant that will be saved by their faith in Jesus when He returns. Until then: every Jew must repent and believe and become born again like everyone else to be considered part of the elect. In a similar manner, we see that through the church history, as explained in Church of the End-time Zombies, written by Pastor Pam, is that the Holy Spirit has been collectively grieved by professing Christians in each generation, in a similar pattern of the Israelites: unbelief and rebellion. It really reached its climax when a preacher, a former freemason Charles Finney, introduced a blasphemous doctrine of works: that you can say a prayer to become saved: aka. "the sinner's prayer." It took the responsibility of salvation away from the Holy Spirit, and rebelliously placed it in the hands of men. We also see this aspect of collectively grieving the Holy Spirit in the book when it comes to the different "church ages." The church ages come from Revelation discussing the seven churches. While the literal interpretation is about seven different churches throughout modern day Turkey in 60-90AD, we also see a deeper, more symbolic and prophetic interpretation as Pastor Pam points out: "In the first 3 chapters of the book of Revelation, the Lord spoke to each church age. I was able to pinpoint and find in the history books of each church age: Ephesus was the first age of those who lived in the generation of the Lord’s crucifixion, resurrection and after the ascension. The persecuted church at Smyrna lined up and overlapped the first age, under cruel Roman domination, with the saints being crucified upside down, beheaded, and stoned to death. With the rise of the Roman Emperor, Constantine, the organized church was established with the compromising church at Pergamos, which eventually became the Catholic Church. History revealed that the churches at Thyatira and Sardis are two phases of Catholic Domination that span several centuries until Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation of the 1500’s. Protestantism was the Lord’s favored church, from 1500 to 1900 when it too became as corrupted as the Catholic Church. The age of Laodicea is the LAST church age, and we are living in it. It consists of an idolatrous, charismatic witchcraft Catholic AND Protestant church. While the Catholics have perverted the gospel of Jesus Christ with the deification of Mary and the worship of various saints, Protestantism is equally perverse. By studying church history, it became clear to me that the 7th and last age of Laodicea is a fulfillment of the Apostles Paul’s predictions that in the last days, there would be a great “falling away.”” Each church age specifically had a "collective issue" that was grieving the Holy Spirit. In the first age, they "lost their first love", the second age was told "do not fear", the third age "participated in sexual and idolatrous sin", the fourth age "worshiped Mother Mary, aka. Jezebel woman", the fifth age "was great in conquest and spread of Christianity, but considered dead" While, at the same time, when a collective group of God's people are in harmony and flow of the Holy Spirit they are all rewarded, as we see the sixth generation was blessed by missing the "great tribulation." I was reading some interesting thoughts on the concept of grieving the Holy Spirit and its impact on individuals and collective believers. It's fascinating how the Holy Spirit works both on an individual level and with the collective body of believers. There seems to be a connection between our individual actions and the impact they have on the larger community. The discussion led me to the Book of Hebrews, particularly chapter 3, where it talks about the Israelites collectively grieving the Holy Spirit through their rebellion and unbelief. This idea of collective grieving is seen throughout history, from the Israelites' rejection of Jesus to more recent church history. The book "Church of the End-time Zombies" by Pastor Pam delves into this concept by discussing the different church ages as described in the book of Revelation. Each church age had a specific collective issue that grieved the Holy Spirit, from losing their first love to engaging in idolatrous practices. It's intriguing to see how the concept of grieving the Holy Spirit extends beyond individual actions to encompass the collective body of believers throughout history. This perspective really brings to light the importance of our actions and beliefs not just for ourselves, but for the entire community of believers.
- The Holy Spirit and Perfectionism: A Reflection
In society, perfectionism is often viewed as a positive trait, showcasing ambition and attention to detail. Yet, when it comes to the relationship with the Holy Spirit, a more solemn perspective emerges. Perfectionism can indeed grieve the Holy Spirit, obstructing spiritual growth and straining the connection with God. By striving for flawlessness, individuals inadvertently choose self-reliance over divine guidance, limiting their spiritual progress and impeding the flow of God's grace and mercy. The Essence of Perfectionism Perfectionism is the relentless pursuit of flawlessness, setting exceedingly high standards for oneself and engaging in self-critical evaluations. While aiming for excellence is commendable, perfectionism becomes detrimental when it transforms into an unattainable quest for perfection, leading to stress, anxiety, and a persistent sense of inadequacy. Relying on Self Instead of God Perfectionism first grieves the Holy Spirit by fostering self-reliance rather than a dependence on God's strength. The Bible teaches believers to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly and to lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). However, perfectionism often drives individuals to rely solely on their abilities and intellect to achieve desired outcomes, neglecting the guidance and empowerment that come from God. Perfectionism can create a false belief that one's value is tied to achievements, creating a form of idolatry where the pursuit of flawlessness supersedes the relationship with God. In Philippians 4:13, Paul emphasizes the need to rely on God's strength rather than personal capabilities. By fixating on their efforts and strengths, perfectionists inadvertently distance themselves from God, grieving the Holy Spirit who seeks to lead and empower them. Impact on Spiritual Growth Perfectionism also hinders the cultivation and manifestation of the fruits of the Spirit, such as love, joy, peace, and kindness. Constantly striving for perfection can rob individuals of joy and peace, leading to dissatisfaction and anxiety. Moreover, imposing high standards on others can foster critical and judgmental attitudes, damaging relationships and hindering the embodiment of virtues like humility and patience. Hindrance to God's Grace and Mercy Another critical aspect where perfectionism grieves the Holy Spirit is in its hindrance to accepting God's grace and mercy. The Christian faith centers on the acknowledgment of human imperfection and the need for God's grace for salvation. However, perfectionism can lead individuals to believe they must earn God's approval through their works, contradicting the principle of salvation by grace alone. This mindset can inhibit the acceptance of forgiveness and perpetuate feelings of guilt and shame, hindering repentance and spiritual restoration. Evil Spirits and the Exploitation of Perfectionism Evil spirits can exploit perfectionism by fostering a legalistic approach to faith, emphasizing rule-keeping over genuine relationship with God. This can lead to feelings of shame and condemnation, distorting the perception of God as loving and merciful. By magnifying inadequacies and fostering guilt, evil spirits aim to create a barrier between believers and God, hindering spiritual growth and fostering spiritual exhaustion. Biblical Example: The Pharisees and Perfectionism The Pharisees' rigid adherence to religious laws and traditions serves as a poignant example of how perfectionism can grieve the Holy Spirit. Their focus on outward perfection led to hypocrisy and legalism, distancing them from God and the people they were meant to lead. Similarly, in modern institutional churches, legalism can overshadow the essence of Christianity, creating an environment of judgment and inadequacy. The Antidote: Embracing God’s Perfection The antidote to perfectionism lies in acknowledging and embracing God's perfection, rather than striving for human flawlessness. By recognizing that God's love is unconditional and not based on performance, individuals can find freedom and peace in their faith. Embracing humility and dependence on God is essential in overcoming perfectionism and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in one's life. Supporting Perfectionist Tendencies through Exodus Internet Church Exodus Internet Church provides support for individuals struggling with perfectionism by emphasizing God's grace and offering personalized coaching and fellowship opportunities. By focusing on progress over perfection and nurturing a supportive community, E.I.C. helps individuals experience the freedom and peace that come from relying on God's grace. Through guidance and resources, individuals can overcome perfectionism and cultivate a deeper relationship with God.
- Exemple de Lazare ; We are dead in our trespasses and sins.
- Top 8 Things People With A Religious Demon Do
A section from the e-book Face The Devil: Number One: No Godly Fruit ALWAYS the most noticeable in a worship service---dancing, shouting, wailing, falling slain in the spirit, doing the “holy dance”--- yet there is known, repetitive sin in their lives. In truth, their Christian walk does not manifest the 9 fruits of the Spirit. Jesus said “you shall know them by their fruit.” Although they may be intelligent and successful, the fruits of holiness: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, gentleness, faith, self control, and meekness are not apparent. It has been my experience that those who have an addiction history are also susceptible to the religious demon. For example, I have known several recovering addicts to be an active, public voice in expressing their belief in Christ, yet their repetitive relapses into drug abuse spawns barefaced and degrading sins. The demon then uses their ineffectual religiosity among onlookers in the church and in the world to publicly shame Jesus Christ and deny Him as the only eternal power of God by whom the world can be saved. Number Two: Hypocritical Judgment Some professing Christians can be extremely Narrow MINDED, CRITICAL, JUDGMENTAL, AND LEGALISTIC. They are skillful at keeping in bondage those “less spiritual” than themselves. These kinds of people can be found in any church, but they tend to infiltrate Pentecostal settings, particularly because of their “waiting meetings.” (War on the Saints, pg. 63) Number Three: Church Over People They love worship and church more than they are concerned about people. This demon will persistently divert attention away from the Great Commission with “too much church!” Then there are those who are so overwhelmed with thoughts of revival and the needs of others, that they are blind to their own condition. Number Four: Fear of Satan Some do not want to hear about Satan, demons, or deliverance. Their actions are often based upon a great fear of this subject. If demons are “in” them, the demons will fear that someone with faith may cast them out and so the captive will be negatively affected by the demon's fear of being unseated. Number Five: Too Much Pride The most outstanding character trait in a person who may have a religious demon is PRIDE. These are often people who cannot take correction or ever admit to being wrong. Number Six: Popularity over the Welfare of a Few They are more concerned about growth in numbers than about the spiritual growth in Christ of each babe in Christ. Number Seven: The Prosperity Gospel They are preaching a prosperity gospel. It should also be noted that even people who are good tithers may have a religious demon, particularly with the advent of the devilish doctrine of prosperity and materialism. I am referring to the “plant a seed and reap a hundredfold harvest” believers. In short, the best religious demon is a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” Sheep praise the Lord, they tithe, they support the pastor, they pray for the sick and shut ins. To recognize a wolf, one needs the Lord to reveal him or her to you, as well as bless you with the wisdom to know how to handle the situation, once the wolf has been identified. How does a religious demon manifest itself? Well, if my words have penetrated your mind by now, you will not be surprised to realize that the answer to this question is that its manifestations are limitless. Number Eight: Saved Since Childhood I have come upon a new breed---those who have grown up in word of faith churches or who may even be the offspring of preachers who claim to have gotten saved when they were toddlers or prior to the age of 12. When they reach adulthood, they are practiced in religiosity and Christian platitudes but will have no real fruit of salvation. They are like word of faith robots, yet there comes a point in time when they realize that what they thought was faith was really habituated learning, akin to reciting the Pledge of Allegiance or singing the Star Spangled Banner. They memorized and recited words without real intellectual or affective understanding of the scripture's significance. At some point in their adulthood, these “church trained” young people realize that “something is missing.” Some will continue with the religiosity because their pride keeps them from embracing the truth, others will rebel and seek worldly pleasures, while others will be convicted and seek to know what is blocking them from true salvation. I am amazed at how many of those of this persuasion are being tormented by demons in this hour.
- Conspiracy Vs. Christ: Religion and Politics Conspiring Conspiracy Theories
The Pharisees, a group of Jewish religious leaders during the time of Jesus, harbored deep suspicion and animosity towards Him. They constantly sought ways to undermine and discredit Him, particularly focusing on His actions regarding the Sabbath. In the Gospel of Matthew, we see how the Pharisees took issue with Jesus' healing and acts of kindness on the Sabbath, accusing Him of breaking the sacred laws. This initial conflict escalated into a full-blown conspiracy against Jesus, with the Pharisees plotting His ultimate demise. John's Gospel further highlights the deep-seated conspiracy against Jesus, particularly emphasizing the fear among the Jewish leaders that Jesus would be seen as the Messiah by the people. This fear stemmed from Jesus' growing popularity and perceived threat to their authority. The Pharisees feared that Jesus' messianic claims could incite rebellion against the Roman Empire, ultimately leading to the destruction of the Jewish nation and the temple. The conspiracy reached its climax during the Passover celebration, as recounted in the Gospel of Matthew. The chief priests, scribes, and elders conspired to arrest Jesus secretly, fearing a public uproar if done openly. They planned to eliminate Jesus, believing it would save the nation from potential Roman retaliation. This calculated decision to sacrifice Jesus for the greater good of the nation demonstrates the extent of the conspiracy against Him. Drawing parallels to modern times, the rise of conspiracy theories, like those propagated by figures such as Alex Jones, demonstrates how misinformation and mistrust can impact society, just like Biblical times. Jones gained notoriety through his outlandish conspiracy theories, particularly surrounding events like the 9/11 attacks and the Sandy Hook shooting. His influence grew through platforms like InfoWars, attracting a substantial following despite his lack of credible evidence. Jones' conspiracies thrived on exploiting societal anxieties and fears, tapping into a deep-seated mistrust of established institutions. His financial success through the sale of supplements and merchandise underscores the profitable nature of spreading conspiracy theories. However, Jones' eventual banishment from social media platforms and legal repercussions for defamation highlight the consequences of spreading misinformation and falsehoods. Jone’s is not the only person guilty of spreading conspiracy theories causing distrust of major institutions. We see the far right in American politics as a whole, including the religious establishments of America involved in conspiracy theories causing damaging effects to the well being of society. We see prominent health leaders like Dr. Faccui receiving not just death threats, but actual attempts on his life due to the fruit of conspiracy theories. The World Health Organization sees vaccine hesitancy as the top 10 global threats to public health. And indeed, not getting the proper vaccines jeopardizes the health of others. In contrast, at EIC, we uphold the values of truth and faith, rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge the dangers of succumbing to conspiracy theories that promote fear and division, offering instead a message of hope and victory through faith. Our mission is to illuminate the path of righteousness through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, providing a source of true enlightenment and salvation in a world plagued by deception and falsehoods. By focusing on the eternal truths of God's word and the testimony of Scripture, we aim to dispel the darkness of conspiracy theories and offer a beacon of light in a world shrouded in uncertainty and mistrust. While conspiracy theories may offer temporary solutions or false promises, we stand firm in the belief that only through the grace and salvation of Jesus Christ can we find true deliverance and redemption.
- Describing A Religious Person
The bible is not explicit in defining the word "religion." Only a handful of times is the word religion even used. The Apostle Paul in his testimony considers his background as a former religious Pharisee. in fact, the Lord compared the Pharisees and other religious zealots of His time on earth to white washed tombs, clean on the outside but on the inside, filled with the defilement of dead men's bones!!! In fact, observing the Pharisees in the New Testament could be the greatest example on the biblical perspective of what religion actually produces. Theses descriptors bring images to mind as definers that undergird religion: Traditions, rituals, praise from men, hypocrisy, misinterpretation of scripture out of their original context, godly appearances in robes, crowns, collars and other vestments to promote a sense of external godliness, inward corruption, pride, secret sins, a major on minors, oppressive, narrowminded, judgmental. Forced, oppressive, mandated, and pressured. At times, even racist, as the Jews regarded the Samaritans who were seen as uncouth in their worship style. Consider also that religion can also be fleshly, with various attempts at worship devoted to an appeal to the sensuous, in an effort to stir up feelings and emotions, offered to God as an earthly sacrifice, not spiritual but carnal. No spirit, no truth. the Apostle Paul warned the Corinthians and others that the carnal or fleshly mind is at enmity with God, unable to understand what God calls true worship as described by James: "Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight reign on their tongues DECEIVE THEMSELVES, AND THEIR RELIGION IS WORTHLESS. Religion that God tour Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: TO LOOK AFTER THE ORPHANS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR DISTRESS AND TO KEEP ONESELF FROM BEING POLUTED BY THE World!!! James 1::16,17. Wow, the world and its pollution is yet another subject as to the the failure of organized religion.
- The Infiltration of Drugs into Institutional Church Systems and Historical Links to Ancient Practices
An article written by Leeann: Among modern society, the intermingling of drug use and religious practices have accrued a rising amount of attention, particularly with the arrival of Christian-based churches incorporating hallucinogenic plants, such as marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms, into their rituals. This phenomenon, while seemingly recent, has its literal roots in ancient pagan and occult practices. From the very beginning in the book of Enoch, ‘roots’ were introduced by fallen angels as they attempted to seduce and influence beautiful women for their own perverted desires. Semjaza, the leader of the renegade lot himself taught enchantments and root-cuttings, which would’ve likely included the notion of psychoactive herbs for incantation purposes, “…And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings….” 1 Enoch 8:1-3 Historical Connections Between Drug Use and Ancient Practices: Marijuana, known for its psychoactive properties, has a long history of use in various religious and spiritual practices. Ancient cultures often utilized cannabis and other psychoactive substances to facilitate spiritual experiences and connect with the spiritual realm. For instance: Ancient China and India: Cannabis was used in ancient China as early as 2700 BCE for medicinal and ritualistic purposes. In India, it has been part of religious practices for thousands of years, particularly in the worship of the god Shiva, who is often associated with cannabis consumption. (Could it be there is a link between the earliest known religion of mankind, Hinduism, led by Shiva within its pantheon with that of Semjaza, the original renegade leader of fallen angels aside from Satan?) Scythians and Indo-European Cultures: The Scythians, a group of ancient nomadic tribes, were known to use cannabis in their rituals. Herodotus, a Greek historian, described how the Scythians used hemp to induce trance-like states during ceremonies. African and Middle Eastern Traditions: In ancient African and Middle Eastern cultures, cannabis and other plants were used in religious ceremonies and as part of traditional medicine. The use of these substances was often linked to shamanistic practices aimed at healing and acquiring spiritual knowledge through an ALTERED STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS, WHERE ANYONE/ANYTHING COULD TALK TO OR MANIPULATE SOMEONE!!! The Rise of Modern Entheogenic Churches: The modern resurgence of entheogenic churches, such as the Church of Ambrosia and the Zide Door Church of Entheogenic Plants, reflects a growing interest in integrating psychoactive substances into religious and spiritual practices. These churches claim that substances like marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms are sacraments that facilitate a direct connection with the divine, but in fact are devilish mockery introduced into the Institutional Church (I.C.) system through a lack of knowledge. Exodus Internet Church and Drug-Related Issues: Exodus Internet Church (E.I.C.) takes a stand against the use of drugs—instead of becoming a part of the world—setting itself a part as the Lord intends his people to be, “You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.” (Leviticus 20:26). One of our core principles, known as the Seven Walls, (seven facets of sin holding the Lord’s people captive and headed by a high-ranking, fallen angel—Drugs and Alcohol, Homosexuality, Fornification, Religiosity, Witchcraft, Racism, and Poverty.) includes a dedicated focus on supporting individuals struggling with drug addiction. We offer various programs and services aimed at rehabilitation and overcoming worldly bondage to gain a greater understanding of Christ both in terms of one’s self but also HIMSELF—recognizing the complex interplay between substance abuse and a person’s well-being upon all aspects—spirit, soul, and body. Biblical Doctrine Against Marijuana Use: The Bible, while not explicitly mentioning marijuana, provides clear guidance on maintaining sobriety and avoiding practices that lead to altered states of consciousness. Several key biblical doctrines and verses can be interpreted as standing against the use of marijuana. Sobriety and Self-Control: The Bible emphasizes the importance of sobriety and self-control. In 1 Peter 5:8, it states, "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." This verse underscores the need to remain vigilant and in control of one's faculties, which is compromised by drug use. Temple of the Holy Spirit: In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, the Apostle Paul writes, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." This passage encourages believers to treat their bodies with respect and avoid substances that can harm them. Avoiding Drunkenness: Ephesians 5:18 advises, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." While this verse specifically mentions wine, it can be applied more broadly to any substance that leads to a loss of self-control. Taking the Path Forward: The infiltration of drugs into the I.C. while controversial, reflects a broader historical and cultural infiltration by fallen angels since the early history of humanity before the ‘Flood of Noah.’ Ancient pagan practices often incorporated psychoactive substances to cultivate unfiltered, spiritual experiences, a dangerous, demonic tradition that some modern churches have now inserted into their own practices. Nevertheless, E.I.C takes a different approach, focusing on supporting individuals with drug-related issues and adhering to biblical doctrines that advocate for sobriety and self-control. By offering rehabilitation and spiritual guidance, Exodus Internet Church provides a compassionate and faith-based response to the challenges of addiction, honoring its commitment to helping those in need—while keeping our eyes on what really matters, the name of JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH AND KEEPING IT HOLY through ourselves and our actions!
- Staying Steadfast in Truth: Navigating Controversy and Upholding Faith in the Modern World
As believers in Christ, we are tasked with upholding the truth and resisting sin. Recently, a leak of a private meeting between the Pope and Italian bishops has stirred controversy, particularly among the LGBT community and their supporters. Despite the uproar, it is crucial to stay grounded in our devotion to God and His teachings. This article will delve into the significance of standing firm in the truth and opposing sin, even when faced with pressure and compromise. The source of the leaked information from the meeting remains unknown, leaving speculation that a bishop may have been involved. While some may view the Pope's compassionate stance towards same-sex relationships as inclusive, it is vital to uphold the church's stance on sin. The fact that he openly apologized for what he said in a private meeting reveals he is surrendered to the opinions of men and not God. As Christians, we are called to pursue righteousness and eternal life, even when challenged by political influences and compromises. Let's explore the importance of maintaining discernment and unwavering faith, regardless of external pressures. Our faith as Christians is rooted in the Word of God, which defines human relationships and sexuality. While showing love and empathy to all individuals is essential, it is equally important to uphold the truths of the Bible. The apostle Paul instructs believers to judge those within the church and to rid the congregation of evil, but to allow God the judgment for outsiders (see 1 Corinthians 5:12). This includes standing against sin, even when it contradicts popular opinions. Church leaders, including the Pope and bishops, are tasked with shepherding God's people and upholding biblical teachings. While private discussions are understandable, it is crucial for church leaders to preserve the integrity of these meetings and not compromise on biblical principles. Breaching confidentiality can lead to confusion and division within the church, as evidenced by the aftermath of this incident. When church meetings are exposed to the public, it can have extensive repercussions for the entire congregation. It can undermine the authority of church leaders and sow doubt among believers. In a world where political correctness often overshadows biblical truth, it is imperative for Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and unwavering in the face of societal pressures. The leaked meeting between the Pope and Italian bishops has sparked turmoil within the Catholic community and beyond. Advocates for the LGBT community have voiced dismay over what they perceive as a lack of support for same-sex couples within the church. Nonetheless, it is vital to remember that as Christians, our ultimate loyalty lies with God and His word, rather than the shifting currents of public opinion. Marianne Duddy-Burke, the leader of LGBT Catholic rights group DignityUSA, has been outspoken in her critique of the church's stance on same-sex relationships. While her Catholic combined with her sexual orientation background may influence her perspective, it is crucial to approach these issues with a balanced outlook rooted in biblical teachings. The Pope's previous statements on homosexuality have been interpreted diversely, with some seeing them as displays of compassion and inclusivity, while others view them as straying from clear biblical doctrines. Regardless of interpretation, it is essential for Christians to uphold what 1 Corinthians 6:9 states, emphasizing that the unrighteous will not inherit God's kingdom. In conclusion, as Christians, we are called to uphold the truth and resist sin, even in the midst of societal pressures and compromises. The recent leak of a private meeting between the Pope and Italian bishops serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding biblical principles and exercising sound judgment in all facets of our faith. Though navigating the complexities of the modern world may be challenging, our ultimate allegiance is to God and His word. Let us remain resolute in our faith and unwavering in our dedication to upholding the truth of the Bible, irrespective of external forces that may attempt to sway us.
